INCLUSION
The student will remain in the General Education Classroom with modifications for the classroom and student assessment.  A Special Education Teacher spends time in the regular classroom providing indirect services to help students be successful on grade level.  Indirect services are provided through this method in the areas of Reading, Language Arts, Math, and Science.
 
RESOURCE
The students are pulled from the general education program for a portion of the day to address specific Goals and Objectives determined by the ARD Committee.  This provides time for small group instructions and one-on-one assistance with specific skills.
 
BILINGUAL ASSISTANCE
Dedicated classroom professionals who provide Spanish assistance during instruction in the Bilingual Classroom.  When in the Special Education Classroom, Spanish support in provided for the students who are transitioning to English.
 
CONTENT MASTERY
The student is pulled from the general education program to provide minimum assistance to address Science and Math Vocabulary.  As well as reading in Science and Math.
 
504 (Special Services)
Is a service that provides Modifications for the General Education Program and Student Assessment for students with Medical Issues that do not qualify for Special Education Services.
 
 
SPEECH / LANGUAGE THERAPY
 May include the following delivery methods, directed (consult); integrated (therapy in various learning environments); guided (combination of pull-out), based on student needs.

LIFE SKILLS
Life Skills is a self-contained program which address students with multiple disabilities who require small group, one-on-one, and direct instructions at the student’s level of ability.   Instructions are leveled for each student and every opportunity is taken to include the students in Enrichment Classes, Lunch, and Field Trips with the General Education Classes.  Subjects Reading, Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Personal Health, and Vocational Skills are taught according to student ability.
