The Black History program was a huge success. The students did a wax museum of key figures in black history with various short speeches on an African American in various fields of medicine, politics, entertainment and sports. Mrs. Negron’s class performed a Caribbean dance number and Ms. Adams and Ms. Phillips class sung. The dance class performed an African can dance.   The dance class has been busy. They performed at the Central Region Breakfast, at the Black History Program at Madison High school for Montgomery Elementary and HISD’s February Fine Arts Friday. They will be performing at the Black Heritage Day Celebration at the Rodeo on March the 7th. FineArtsMagnet
