Our Kindergarten is a full-day program.  The hours of attendance for kindergarten are the same as for the other grade level students.

 

The instructional day is five hours and fifteen minutes plus thirty

minutes for lunch, thirty minutes for a quiet rest period, and a thirty-minute recess.  All daily schedules for kindergarten classes include a rest /quiet period and recess.

 

Our curriculum is well-balanced and integrated to help children make connections across content areas.  Curriculum is organized around themes which include language arts (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), mathematics, fine arts, health, science, and social studies-- all integrated throughout the school day.
